My Future (student choice):

When kids grow up they like to think of their career. They mainly want to follow in their parents footsteps, which is great. But when some of those kids get to the point in their lives where they are almost about to start college, they start to rethink what they want to do. Like me for example. I always wanted to be a teacher and help out with kids. If you ask a lot of little kids, that’s what they might say they want to be when they get older. I have 3 more years left in high school and I’m still tied behind what i want to go do when I am old enough

1. Cardiology:

So my mom, grandma, granddad, and my aunt are nurses. I wanted to fall into their footsteps. They all turned out to be very successful people and I want to be very successful. So the human anatomy really sets an interest on me. Mainly the heart. The human heart is an organ that pumps blood throughout the body via the circulatory system, supplying oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and removing carbon dioxide and other wastes. Yes, I know, it sounds like it’s a lot. That’s because it is.

In order to become a cardiologist, one must undergo four years of medical school as well as three years of internal medicine training. One must complete three more years of what is called specialized training. The median annual salary of invasive cardiologists for 2018 is $404,688. Half of all cardiologists earn more than this, while half earn less. Generally, salaries range from $335,841 to $504,458. The top 10 percent of all invasive cardiologists earn $595,293, and the lowest 10 percent earn $273,159.

Doing cardiology could save lives and help me be very successful.

2. Interior Design/Interior Decorator:

Last Sunday, my mom had just got married. Way before that, she let me know that I was going to be decorating the reception. I was scared and excited at the same time because I didn’t have the stuff to do it at first and I really like to decorate and build stuff so I was really grateful that she was really letting me do this. We got all the stuff delivered to the reception area and I started as soon as we got there. The place we were in looked all raggedy and I was thinking to myself “I can’t do this”.

After I finished decorating the reception, I felt like I was on one of the shows on TV and they show them tearing up the house and then remodeling it. The whole reception looked really nice and everybody was telling me how good it looked and that I should really try and do that for a living. The whole outlook of it really made me want to do it for a living. After more research of the career, I found a lot more to understand about it.

A professional program in interior design is required to get started, and that typically takes two to three years and awards a certificate or an associate degree, although bachelor’s degrees are available, too. Interior designers earned $52,810 on average in May 2011. Workers in the occupation earned an average wage of $25.39 an hour. The top 10 percent of workers made more than $86,430 a year, while the bottom 10 percent earned less than $25,720.

In either of these professions, I will and can end up being very successful. It may take me some time to find out what I’m going to do. Let’s just hope it’s going to be in under 3 years!!

Farewell Creative Writing😥

So, I guess this is our final goodbye… Half of the class is leaving to go back to their original school that was just built. Some people are moving cities or states. This is really upsetting. Creative writing treated me like we were a family. They would sit here and listen to any and all stories we had to share. I got close with a lot of people for a good purpose. I always had someone checking up on me if I looked upset, sad, or mad. Having them by my side helped me through the first year of high school.

We had a lot of cool, mysterious, and fun encounters this school year. We had the mysterious Fall Taurus who left these cool and fun ciphers and hints for us to crack. We cracked those in about two or three weeks. The person behind Fall Taurus is a really sweet and generous person and can start a chain reaction. I remember when the upperclassmen had to do something so we had to all go watch something in the auditorium. It was called “Rachel’s Challenge”. The story behind it was very upsetting and had us all asking questions. When we got in 3rd period, we all started talking about it and how it made us cry.

We have treated each other like family since the beginning of the school year. This whole class will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss cracking ciphers and codes. I’m gonna miss my teacher talk about her kids and her life which was always interesting. I will miss listening to music with my best friends, Jess and Olivia (she’s gonna hurt me for that). I will miss looking in the hallways to see if my friend is here or not. I will miss everything about this class.

Thank you for showing me new things, showing me you care, and being there for me. I love you guys❤.

WARNING: SPOILER UPCOMING *if you have not read the book or watched the movie DO NOT READ*

Every Day started off as a book written by David Levithan, which was published on August 28th, 2012. As everyone knows the book is always better than the movie. The movie came out in the year of 2018. It is about a seventeen-year old girl Rhiannon who falls in love with a mysterious spirit named A. A travels in another body that is exactly it’s age. It does not specify it’s own gender, is never in the same body twice, and named itself A so the name can be unique.

It starts off by being in a guy named Justin who is actually in a relationship with Rhiannon. He wakes up and says to siri to set an alarm for 11:00 and another one for 11:50. A says this because at 12:00 he switches bodies with another person it’s age. Justin spends the day with his girlfriend and has a fun time. As they spend the day together, Rhiannon tells A (without knowing it is A) a lot of person things. Mainly about her “dead beat” dad. As the day ends they leave the place they were in, they kiss and end the day.

A suddenly falls in love with Rhiannon and tells her who and what he is. During the movie Rhiannon and A run into a situation with a suicidal teen and encourages A to try and stay in the girls body. A succeeds and helps the girl get help. After this happened, they noticed that A is able to stay in a body for over 24 hours. This was never discovered until they tried to help the girl. Now that A knows that they can stay in a body for over 24 hours, he chooses to stay in one boy named Alexander, which has a great personality and would be a great boyfriend for anybody.

The night that they chose to have a real date she wants him to stay in that body forever and have a real life with her. A tells Rhiannon that it is not a good idea and thinks the best idea is to stay with Alexander. Alexander has all of the characteristics to make Rhiannon stay happy and keep her confidence up. Rhiannon wakes up in a new day without meeting A. A is officially gone. As Rhiannon walks up to her locker, she sees Alexander. Alexander comments Rhiannon that she has a nice smile and they end up walking with Alex and the movie ends.

I personally have to say that this movie is one of the best movies I have watched. I love how they didn’t just choose all the same people, but chose people who have different personalities, completely look different, and how some people have stuff going on and some who don’t. I think they had a really good cast. Better acting actors and nobody else could play the roles of the main characters.

How-To-Not-Be-Antisocial

Almost 7.6 million people have antisocial personality disorder. It isn’t always easy to talk to a person. You get nervous, you freeze up, you have no idea what to say, sweaty palms, heart racing… These kind of things happen to a lot of people, but there are also people who have no problem speaking to other people. Here are five tips to get over that:

1. Relax…

Antisocial people tend to freak out to the idea of speaking to another person. It’s difficult for them to think of something to randomly speak about. Take a deep breath. Think calmly. Ask the person how their day was. Think of them as someone that you have known your whole life.

2. Express Yourself

Don’t let the person see that you are afraid to speak to them. The more they see that you are being quiet and not speaking, the more awkwardness. By expressing yourself, you need to reveal the real you. Show them that you have some confidence and you aren’t just hiding away. It might not be easy but once you express yourself, the other person will start to get fond of you and it will become easier to speak to them. You finally might have made another friend.

3. Do Not Try to Impress

When you try to impress the other person, they will think you are trying to seem like the better person. You can be confident, but don’t be too confident. They will begin to be very uncomfortable and they will feel low about themselves. By don’t impress, i mean don’t look for someone to say something and just one up them. That just makes them think that you are cocky and don’t care about anybody else but yourself. You don’t wanna come off as an annoying person.

4. Don’t Let the Conversation Die

If you had a really good conversation with the other person, don’t let that fun just go away. Keep going with another thing that goes along with the conversation. Something like a story that is related to it. When the conversation is over, one of you need to get back into engaging into the conversation. If nothing is to be said, say something very random. Something that will make the conversation interesting.

5. Be Yourself

I’m just going to let you know right now, nobody likes it when you lie in their faces. It does not make you look cool. When you lie about things, it might make you feel better but it makes the other person look like a fool. If you are a goofy person and like to make jokes, then you do that.

There are many different ways to get over being antisocial. You will be able to get over the fear of speaking to others. Yes, I know it is not easy but you need to put at least enough effort to improve your fears. Everyone has to overcome some fear in their lives. This may be the one you can overcome…

Disney Downgrade

Do you remember watching the famous Disney movies with the amazing intro? The “Hi my name is …. and your watching Disney Channel” then they had the blue wand tracing the sign and you would actually think that they were really drawing the sign. That was the best thing that you could experience as a child. If you do not remember the intros, the videos of the Disney intros are below:

Ever since Disney has gotten older, so have the actors.

As the actors got older, Disney started getting a lot more actors and actresses to start new shows. After the show ‘Jessie’ ended, they started a new show to finish with the kids growing up at a camp, Camp Kikiwaka. The show is not as good as when they were younger and they are missing one of the dumber kids, Luke. They didnt think about if they were just going to cancel him from the show because he was in “summer school”, then they should’ve cancelled Emma from there too. ‘Bunk’d’ was an okay show but it was nothing like ‘Jessie’. If I were to rate it, I would say a 5.8.

The show ‘Good Luck Charlie’ was also an amazing show. It was on air for a good 4 years (April 4, 2010-February 10, 2014). A teenager named Teddy (Bridget Mindler), makes these life lesson videos for her little sister, Charlie, and she ends the videos by saying, “Good luck Charlie” and puts her hand over the camera, making it black. They ended the show with the older brother going to college, Toby is still a toddler, and Charlie gets bigger. They should’ve had a new show which includes Charlie and Toby growing older together and watching their lesson videos. It would’ve been just like ‘Bunk’d’ but even better.

Disney no longer does the intros like they used to, which very much upsets me. The Disney downgrade is real and I can tell you right now that it is NOT going to get ANY better.

Uprise of Billie Eilish:

Billie Eilish is only 17 and is a singer from L.A. She started singing at an early age. She joined a choir at the age of 8, and by the time she turned 11, she had begun writing and singing her own songs. The song ‘Ocean Eyes’ was then released and went viral. The song was originally written by her brother, Finneas O’Connell.  In 2017, her brother helped her record the single ‘Bellyache.’ With the success of the song, Billie released her debut EP, ‘Don’t Smile at Me,’ in August 2017.

Billie Eilish is a very successful young American woman. She is most times criticized for not smiling in her pictures. The people who say this are not paying attention. She smiles very much and is a very goofy person with an amazing voice.

This year, 2019, Billie made a new album named ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?’. The names in the songs are:

In one of her tours she played a song named ‘6.18.18’, which was dedicated to XxxTentaction.

The Anger of Aladdin (2019)

If you have seen Aladdin 1992, you had a wonderful childhood. Listening to A Whole New World with Aladdin and Jasmine singing together and it sounding angelic. Robin Williams playing Genie was iconic, especially when he first met Aladdin and singing to him and how he will never find a friend like him. Yeah, well I’m here to tell you that the childhood that you had with Aladdin… IS OVER!!!

They are making a whole new world? A whole new Aladdin for the year 2019…. Okay, so let me start off by saying the cast is not perfect. First off, Genie is supposed to be able to sing, is supposed to be very funny, and is able to do multiple voices. Don’t get me wrong Will Smith is very funny. Do you know who is even better for his role? JAMIE FOXX!! He is very funny, he can sing his butt off, and so many voices come with him. What were they thinking making HIM Genie?

SECOND OF ALL, they didn’t make Jafar right. The actor, Marwan Kenzari, is cute. I’m gonna be honest about that. Jafar is supposed to have a long nose, skinny, ugly, and a terrible face. This is so messed up. This is just like suicide squad. The Joker was FINE, and so is the new Jafar. If you search for him, you will see a shirtless picture of Marwan. Let me tell you this right now… I don’t think Jafar had abs.

All you need to know is that I am friggin FURIOUS about this. R.I.P. Aladdin 1992. We will forever remember you…

Obituary Review:

Eric Brown was just 44 years old when he was choking on a piece of shrimp. Eric, his family, and friends were planning to go out to eat to celebrate his birthday and graduating from medical school. The day was July 17th, 2014. He had many friends who cared about him and that always hung out around him and made him happy. He would also always go to the movies with his two little sisters and his big brother. As his graduation and birthday came around, his brothers and sisters all made a toast at the surprise party that was going on at the hibachi grill. His mother and father, Jennifer and Jerry Brown, were talking to him telling him happy birthday. When the party was over, his friends were walking out, but while Eric was swallowing his piece of shrimp, his friend came up to him and whispered a joke in his ear and Eric was laughing. He was laughing so hard that he choked. His death was ruled a homicide. We at least know that he died happily…
